General Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT

Payment must be received before packing and delivery.  Payment made be made by three methods, PayPal, Cheque and Postal Order.  Cheques should be made to “Marcus Ellison”.

ORDERS OUTSIDE U.K

If your order is to be delivered outside of the U.K we only accept payment via PayPal in GBP sterling.   PayPal may carry out security checks on your identification for your own personal security.

Cheques to be payable to “Marcus Ellison”.  Cheque to be for the full amount including postage, (see email confirmation for full sum payable).   When sending cheques please write your card number on the reverse of your cheque including guarantee amount, expiry date.  Please also either include a copy of the confirmation received via email or  note the order number on the reverse of your cheque. 

Each new order is classified as an individual order and thus will entail postage at the appropriate amount.   If the product is not available Edinburgh Fudge will contact you by email or telephone (if available).  We try to keep our website constantly updated though sometimes stock levels depreciate quicker than we can update the website.  You will be informed of postage costs at point of sale before you submit your payment details.  You can review these at the shipping costs page.  Postage is based on shipping weight.

All prices on Edinburgh Fudge are GBP sterling.  If you are purchasing outside the U.K you card provider may charge you a fee and vary the currency exchange rates.  In the situation you may required a refund from Edinburgh Fudge we will not be responsible for any currency exchange losses on any refund.   If posting outside of the U.K you may be required to pay import tax or levy.  This is outside Edinburgh Fudge’s control and we advise you look into this before placing your order as Edinburgh Fudge will not be liable for any of these costs.

All prices added to Edinburgh Fudge website are manually input and unfortunately some errors may occur.  If a genuine error is made on our part we reserve the right to contact you with the view to cancelling your order or advising the correct price prior to ordering.

MARKETING

Edinburgh Fudge will only retain your details for the purpose of your order and if requested further marketing such as newsletter or special orders.  We do not pass on, sell, trade or give your details to any third party. 

REFUNDS & RETURNS

Edinburgh Fudge are 100% confident that you will be satisfied with your purchase however if you do have any issues please contact us.  We have a common sense attitude with regard to returns.   We may ask you to return the product to us prior to refund.  We will not cover the cost of returns. 

PRODUCT

Edinburgh Fudge’s fudge, toffee and truffle are handmade and are dairy products which have a limited life. We will ensure that any product which we sell to you will have a minimum of 3 months prior to use by date at dispatch. All fudges may contain traces of nuts
